Many people choose inferior products such as wood chip as a menage surface due to the cost saving only to find the surface is soft and waterlogged during winter or dusty and compacted during the summer. The correct balance of firmness and cushioning needs to be achieved to avoid damage to your horses tendons and ligaments.
Combi Ride is a fibre based porduct designed to be combined with silica sand in order to provide a stable riding surface. The fibre itself consists of nylon and a small percentage of rubber crumb recovered from the recycling of car tyres by an intensive shredding and seperating process. The 'root' like nature of our fibre ensures the sand and fibre bind together creating a surface that is firm but responsive, preventing the tendancy to 'ride deep'. With the added benefit of moisture retention and higher resistance to frost you can be sure to create the ideal surface when using this product.
