We specialise in supply and delivery of seasoned firewood logs suitable for wood burners, open fires and wood burning stoves. Our seasoned firewood is predominantly made up of seasoned Beech which provides a good combination of flame and heat whilst also burning slowly.
Rapidly increasing fuel prices have resulted in massive increases in firewood sales over the past few years and as a result poor quality un-seasoned soft firewoods are flooding the market to satisfy demand. By purchasing these inferior products your firewood supplies will diminish rapidly and more of your valuable heat will be lost driving off moisture from damp logs. It is also critical that good quality timber is used to prevent a build up of tar and soot in chimneys and flues. Our firewood logs are processed during the summer months and seasoned under cover to ensure optimum moisture levels (20-25%) before being packaged in various forms ready for despatch.
