Consists of: Equestrian Woodfibre consists of timber which is carefully shredded and screened to produce a consistent dust free product. . Equestrian Woodfibre is not to be confused with Woodchip which is a totally different product that often has a high bark content and thus retains large quantities of water. This can cause the product to become compact, slippery and dangerous.
The fibrous and root like nature of Equestrian Woodfibre ensure the surface knits together to give a consistent footing in all conditions whilst remaining free draining. Equestrian Woodfibre is proven to be more resilient to freezing than most sand based surfaces and is often favoured by yards requiring complete all weather surfaces.
Equestrian Woodfibre is the perfect solution for those on a budget or those with more environmentally friendly requirements for a riding arena surface. This product forms a complete surface and does not need to be used with any other product.
Ideal for: Riding arenas, lunges, gallops, turn out areas.
Availability: Loose by the cubic metre.
Minimum Order Quantity: 10 cubic metres.
Recommended Depth: Apply at 250mm (10 inches) to give compacted working depth of 150-200mm. A typical 40 x 20m arena will require 200 cubic metres of Equestrian Woodfibre.
