How to measure?
Take a metric tape measure and measure the length, width and depth of the area to be filled. The length and width measurements should be recorded in metres and the depth in millimetres. Now take these figures and enter them into the quantity calculator to reveal the approximate quantity required for your job.
Remember:
1 metre is equivalent to 1000mm or 100cm
1 centimetre is equivalent to 10mm
What Is Equestrian Stabilising Fibre?:
Our equestrian Equus Premier Stabilising Fibre, advanced none waxed additive utilising the finest quality post industrial carpet and fibre, shredded and mixed in precise proportions to create a root system similar to turf, with distinct advantages over natural footing. This robust equestrian carpet fibre additive gives a good to soft turf type ride condition and has a more professional look and feel than standard sand based surfaces.
The addition of long fibres adds vertical and horizontal support & reduces surface penetration. The carpet fibres will trap valuable moisture within the surface to help prevent the sand from drying out and becoming loose and thus enhancing the performance of any sand/rubber surface. Polypropylene fibres are exceptionally resilient and virtually unbreakable. Equus Fibre is not recommended for exposed areas at risk of high winds as surface fibre may be lost.
Equus Premier Stabilising Fibre provides superior support for your horse's hoof, without interfering with the natural flow of movement. It provides excellent cushioning for ligaments, and puts less stress on the muscles and joints, making it an ideal additive for training in all disciplines.
