How to measure?
Take a metric tape measure and measure the length, width and depth of the area to be filled. The length and width measurements should be recorded in metres and the depth in millimetres. How Do I Install 40mm Flamingo Chippings?
40mm Flamingo Chippings used for driveways or car parks should be spread with a rake or shovel at 40-50mm depth over a compacted sub base such as Type 1 . When used on borders, the product can be spread at 40-50mm directly onto a weed suppressing membrane.
Do 40mm Flamingo Chippings Require Maintenance?
40mm Flamingo Chippings should be trouble free! It may require periodic raking to remove leaves and level out any high or low spots but nothing more than that. The product can even be power washed to remove heavier grimy deposits but we recommend doing this during the drier summer months to avoid waterlogging.
Are 40mm Flamingo Chippings Fish Friendly?
40mm Flamingo Chippings are not fish friendly. Being Limestone and Marble, we do not recommend this product is used in water at all. It may adversely affect water chemistry which could be harmful to fish or plants.
