How to measure?

Take a metric tape measure and measure the length, width and depth of the area to be filled. The length and width measurements should be recorded in metres and the depth in millimetres. Now take these figures and enter them into the quantity calculator to reveal the approximate quantity required for your job.

1 metre is equivalent to 1000mm or 100cm

How Do I Install Cockle Shell Mulch?

Cockle Shell Mulch used for paths should be spread with a rake or shovel at 40-50mm depth over a compacted sub base such as Type 1 . When used on borders, the product can be spread at 40-50mm directly onto a weed suppressing membrane.

Does Cockle Shell Mulch Require Maintenance?

Cockle Shell Mulch should be trouble free! It may require periodic raking to remove leaves and level out any high or low spots but nothing more than that.
