How to measure?
Take a metric tape measure and measure the length, width and depth of the area to be filled. The length and width measurements should be recorded in metres and the depth in millimetres. Now take these figures and enter them into the quantity calculator to reveal the approximate quantity required for your job.
Remember:
1 metre is equivalent to 1000mm or 100cm

How Do I Install Play Sand?
Play Sand should be spread evenly with a rake or shovel at 100-150mm depth. It is advisable to keep the sand moist, not only to make the sand easy to mold, but also to reduce the risk of the sand blowing away in exposed areas.
Can Play Sand Be Used Indoors?
Yes, Play Sand can be used indoors as long as proper containment measures are in place to prevent spills and messes. Many parents use large trays or bins to create indoor sandboxes for their children to play in. It is advisable to keep the sand moist for easy molding and to help it stay in the designated area.
