Consists of: 100-150mm** Ironstone Gabion Stone is an angular ironstone with a distinct rusty colour. The colour of this stone is very unique and is a great alternative to standard gabion stones. Bulk Bag Weights: Contain 850kg of useable stone. *Bags are overfilled to 930kg to compensate for any fine material created during production.

A calendar will be presented to you at the website checkout prior to placing your order where you will be able to select your preferred delivery from a range of dates.
How Will My Order Be Delivered?
Bulk Bags: Orders will automatically be delivered using a Rigid Lorry with Tail Lift and Pallet Trolley and can be purchased instantly through our website. Please be aware this method of delivery can only be unloaded on tarmac, concrete or block paving and not gravel or grass under any circumstances (see video here). Larger orders of 10 Bulk Bags or more may be delivered by Rigid Lorry or Articulated Lorry equipped with either a HIAB Crane or Mounted Forklift for unloading depending on access restrictions and at extra cost. Orders of 10 Bulk Bags or more requiring HIAB or Forklift delivery will require a bespoke quote so we can apply any discounts available to you. All quotes will clearly state the delivery method we will use should you wish to proceed with the order. For more information about our delivery vehicles please see our Delivery section. Please ensure you are fully familiar with the delivery method before ordering.

Loose Tonnes / 8 Wheeler Loads: The minimum order for a loose delivery is 10 tonnes. All quantities below 10 tonnes can only be supplied in Bulk Bags or Poly Bags. Orders of 10-20 tonnes will generally be delivered using an 8 Wheeled Tipper Lorry. Orders of 20 tonnes or more may be delivered using an 8 Wheeled Tipper Lorry or an Articulated Tipper Lorry if access permits. Some loose orders require a bespoke quote so we can apply any discounts available to you. All quotes will clearly state the delivery method we will use should you wish to proceed with the order. Pallets/Crates: Orders of between 1 – 9 Pallets will automatically be delivered using a Rigid Lorry with Tail Lift and Pallet Trolley and can be purchased instantly through our website. Ironstone absolutely filthy took 1.5 hrs per dumpy bag to clean with a pressure washer then left with two barrow full of soil and dirt from each dumpy bag would not buy ironstone again too much time and cost in preparation |
Unfortunately, none of the gabion stone produced in the UK is washed but dry screened instead. This results in a certain amount of residue on the stone which may need to be washed of with a hosepipe or rain shower. Our bags are overfilled to compensate for this as stated on our website. |
