How to measure?
Take a metric tape measure and measure the length, width and depth of the area to be filled. The length and width measurements should be recorded in metres and the depth in millimetres. Now take these figures and enter them into the quantity calculator to reveal the approximate quantity required for your job.

Our 75-200mm** Celtic Gabion Stone is an angular granite stone consisting of plum, green and grey shades very similar to that of Welsh Slate and is perfect for Gabion Baskets. In fact you would be forgiven for thinking that the product actually contains slate but it is a form of Porphyritic Andesite from the Granite family. The various shades of plum, green and grey present make Celtic Gabion Stone a very attractive alternative to standard coloured gabion stone. Celtic Gabion Stone is produced to 6G specifications and is incredibly durable and suited to Gabion installations requiring the strongest stone. See Gabion Basket Installation Video

1 x Bulk Bag will fill approx 0.6 cubic metres. Quantity used will depend on the skill of the installer. An experienced installer will use more stone than an inexperienced one.

850-900kg per bag. Gabion Stone is an unwashed product and thus may contain 5-10% fine material
