Consists of: An aggregate composed of Crushed Concrete, Brick and occasional Asphalt which has been screened to remove the bulk of dust and fines.  Sizes range from 75mm down to 40mm. This type of Crushed Concrete in mainly used as a sub-base or drainage layer where the presence of fines is un-desirable.  The coarse nature of 75-40mm Crushed Concrete makes it a very good all in one product which when compacted forms a hard wearing surface. 75-40mm Crushed Concrete is ideal as a cheaper alternative to Limestone when used as an equestrian arena sub-base. The reduced fines ensure that 75-40mm Crushed Concrete does not block drainage systems.
